Turkey burgers –

  • 1 pound of ground turkey
  • 1 cup of red pepper chopped
  • ¾ cup of granny smith apple chopped
  • 1 tbs of Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup of organic rolled outs
  • fresh ground salt and pepper to taste

Heat a cast iron pan on medium high heat and spray liberally with grape seed oil spray.  Mix all of the ingredients together.  Using a ¼ – cup measuring cup, form a mini burger (slider).  Place on the pan and cook approximately four minutes each side.

Sautéed Mixed Mushrooms

  • 1 pound of mixed fresh organic mushrooms – shitake and crimini
  • Crushed red pepper

Clean the crimini mushrooms with a damp paper towel; cut off the bottom part of the stems; slice mushrooms length wise.  Heat up a skillet, add two tablespoons of olive oil; add the mushrooms and sauté 8 – 10 minutes.  Serve warm
